About The Second Street Irregulars
This is the place to find out about meetings and gatherings, activities and adventures of the Second Street Irregulars, an informal society of sleuths, dedicated to the investigation of the Borden murder case of 1892. The Fall River chapter, a.k.a. The Noble Order of Mutton Eaters plans to hold annual get togethers at the crime scene in Fall River at least once a year, with smaller gatherings for local members several times a year.
We discuss theories, hold experiments, go on field trips to Borden-related sites, help maintain and preserve cemetery monuments related to this case, host guest lecturers, and enjoy meeting other Forum members from around the country. We host an annual banquet at the Quequechan Club where awards are presented for achievement in various catagories, and members can present research accomplished over the year,
It is a cordial group- by anyone’s definition of “cordiality”, which enjoys good fun, good food, and Victorian crime.
